This Duo shows the carving process with deep gouge marks all over the surface. It looks like it grows right out of the earth with the tree trunk like base. The heads each look in a different direction, but the fused bodies speak of total commitment. The original wood is carve purple heart. It is in my private collection. Duo is part of a series of fused double forms that culminated in the 108″ bronze at Trump International Hotel and Tower, NYC.
